Windshield Mount Guide

Die stamped stainless steel 1928-29 open car windshield posts. Polished.

1928-29 Stock:
These posts are replicas of the original design. They have 2 'stock-style' mounting holes per post. Length from end to windshield pivot stud hole is approximately 16-1/2". Length from end to end is approximately 18-3/4".

Studs are zinc plated for longevity. Not included in our windshield kits. Sold each.

These polished stainless steel windshield posts will give your roadster a smooth, clean look. Plus, installing this chopped windshield is a snap. Comes with post caps for a smooth, unique look.

Fits Speedway Lo-Boy Roadster and 1932 Ford roadsters. For a nostalgic, original look use chopped windshield kit 974-56930 at right.

Short style Model T posts are available chrome plated or plain. These are brass castings, mounting bosses on back side to permit a smooth, clean installation. Fits 1915-25 Ford Model T roadster bodies.

 Windshield Mount Guide

Windshield frame hinges for 1909-22 Model T Ford Roadster windshields. Available in either functional or non-functional style.

NOTE: Functional hinges have a mounting stud for windshield support rods. Functional hinges only pivot/function when the pivot assembly is forward or to the front of the windshield frame. These become a non-functional 2-piece design when the pivot assembly is installed to the rear or behind the windshield frame.

Unique, classic-stye 3-piece design made of cast brass. Fits 1926-1927 Model T roadsters for an original look. Also for use on the Speedway Track-T Roadster kit. Windshield glass (not included) easily siliconed into the milled grooves. Glass template included.

Choose polished brass or plain brass that you polish.

Mr. Roadster '26-'27 Model T windshield is a one-piece design like a Model A roadster. "Chopped" to a height of 16" tall. Available in plain or chrome plated steel.

These are 7/8" O.D. and the glass channel is 5/16" wide and 1/4" deep. The lower part of the frame next to the body accepts our T seal number 555-92600 and the slot for the seal is 1/8" wide with provision to accept the "T" style seal and are 16" tall.

Note: No glass or windshield rubber included with our windshield frames.

These beautiful replacement '26-'27 Model T windshield frames are available as a complete frame kit or just the bottom section to fit a specific application. Choose chrome plated or plain steel.

These are 7/8" O.D. and the glass channel is 5/16" wide and 1/4" deep. The lower part of the frame next to the body accepts our T seal number 555-92600 and the slot for the seal is 1/8" wide with provision to accept the "T" style seal. 

No glass or windshield rubber included with our frames. The slugs that are included with this windshield frame must be positioned, drilled and tapped by the installer.

NOTE: You will also need (4) studs, wing nuts, and swivels (all sold separately) along with this frame.

Mr. Roadster '23-'25 Model T windshield frames are reproductions using the stock dimensions: bottom 38-1/2 " wide, 10-1/8" tall, top 37" wide, 10-1/4" tall. Includes slugs and glass caps. Choose plain steel or chrome plated steel. Channel kit is sold separately. No glass or windshield rubber is included with our windshield frames.

Builder's Tip: Speedway '23-'25 T bodies use a 39-5/8" wide windshield frame when using short posts. If using 3/16" glass or lexan, use with brass setting channel.  If using 1/4" glass or lexan, use urethane or setting tape (available from a glass shop) and do not use brass setting channel.

Mr. Roadsters square top 'T' windshield frames fit most fiberglass T-buckets. Triple chrome plated steel. Kit includes frame (approximately 20" tall), non-functional hinges and hardware. Designed for short style posts.

No glass or windshield rubber is included with our windshield frames. Note: Speedway 1923-25 Model T Bodies use a 39-5/8" wide windshield frame when using short posts.

Builder's Tip: If using 1/4" glass or lexan, use urethane or setting tape (available from a glass shop) and do not use brass setting channel.
