This steering wheel adapter allows you to put an aftermarket 3-bolt steering wheel on a 1969-1994 GM. Ididit or Flaming River type column. Horn button not included. Black metal cover.

Note: When using this adapter, if the column has not previously had a steering wheel mounted, #910-64049 shown below will also be required.

Installation Instructions

This kit from Ididit offers security and a handsome appearance as well. Floor mount portion includes an adjustable mount with a polished aluminum trim ring with hardware. Then choose what color boot, part # 4462405-color you want and you have everything you need to complete the look. Black, Bone, Brown or Grey boots available. 

1. Select (1) column mount diameter needed.
2. Select (1) boot color needed, part # 4462405-color.

Don't you wish you had a little more room than that roadster column gives you?  This 30" tilt column has a 1^3/4 " diameter tube so it can replace your existing column easily.  It accepts the normal 69-94 GM steering wheel adapters, 1" DD u-joints, as well as common GM turn signal connectors.

This isn't a rebuilt junkyard column, but rather an all new Flaming River engineered column featuring brand new components.  Made in the USA.

All Flaming River columns are made of 304 grade stainless steel in paintable mill finish, or polished to a high luster.  They will never rust and are chemically clean.  They can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation.

These columns have the same dimensions and features as the Ididit columns available on this website, but are only 16" long instead of 30".

The unpainted finish allows you to customize them in the color of your choice! The columns have the common 3/4" double "D" shaft and accept the '69-up GM steering wheels, adaptors and wiring harnesses and also use the "Swinger" drops on this website.

Both can be used with the under dash mount listed below or you can design your own. (Normal installation is two drops at the dash, attached to an adjustable under dash mount. U-joints, shaft and rod end bearings to be determined by the builder.)
