Cruisin’ Destination
Daytona Unaffected By Threatening Weather Once Again |
Even with threatening skies and chance of rain, Cruisin'
Destination Daytona had another large turnout of cars and
spectators. Vehicles began arriving around 2:00 and didn't
stop until after 5:30 from as far as Fort Lauderdale to
Jacksonville.
|
DJ Frank Roberts and his wife kept the Rock-N-Roll going
non-stop with the only break in music being for announcing
the special awards at the event of the event.
In addition to the music at the cruise, the Coca-Cola Amphitheater
was also providing their own as well. Saints & Sinners
Pub was packed all night long providing the much appreciated
refreshments to all and the hundreds of bikes that were
parking in the rearward area of Destination Daytona helped
in making for some of the highest spectator attendance in
this cruise's history to date.

Gary Petito (left) picks up the "Best Camaro"
award with his beautiful '68.
Gary also deserves a public apology for the misspelling
of "Camero"
on the trophy. Our judges certainly know how to pick some
awesome cars, but our trophy company could benefit from
some Hooked On Phonics..
