Driving Directions from Total Performance-Destination Daytona, Ormond Beach to Total Performance-Hot Rod Parts, Bunnell

Cruisin' Destination Daytona closed out 2007 season on a beautiful December, Saturday evening at Bruce Rossmeyer's fantastic facility with car enthusiasts, from all over Florida, and parts beyond, coming out in large numbers for the monthly cruisin' party.
Frank Roberts spun oldies from his DJ trailer at the North end of the huge facility, while live Rock 'n Roll played in front of the Saints & Sinners Pub at the South end. Spectators rode the trams from the spectator parking areas and stepped off to view the cars, check out the wares found in the shops of Destination Daytona, maybe eat at one of the on site restaurants, or tour the World's Largest Harley Davidson dealership.
The theme for the December CDD was "Droptops". Anita Richards of New Smyrna Beach, picked up the "Best Pre 1949 Droptop Award" with her beautiful 1923 Model T, while the "Best Post 1948 Droptop Award" went to Mark Lane of Ormond Beach, FL and his awesome 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Jim Williamson picked up the coveted "Merchants Pick Award" with his '55 Chevy.
As always there were a number of door prizes including several $100 gift certificates from YearOne, the leader in "Muscle Car" parts, a number of $25.00 gift certificates from event co-sponsor Total Performance, and various merchandise awards from the Destination Daytona retailers.
Remember the third Saturday of every month is Cruisin' Destination Daytona. The party starts at 3:00 PM and goes until it is over and admission and registration are always free.

Cruisin' Destination Daytona (CDD) will go "topless" for the December cruise scheduled, as always, for the third Saturday of the month (December 15). The feature vehicle will be "topless" cars. Do you have a drop top? A roadster, convertible, cabriolet? Awards will be given to the "Best Pre-1949 Topless Vehicle, "Best Post-1948 Topless Vehicle, and the coveted "Merchants Pick for the best "Topless" ride. Special parking for drop tops will be at the North end of the parking lot across from the Destination Daytona retail stores.

Last month's CDD featured over 500 cars. The weather was perfect and the crowds were big. As evening fell the lights came on and the parking area was bathed in light. The party went on until the last car packed up and cruised out the drive.

Live bands, DJ, car show, food court, restaurants, the "World's Largest Harley Davidson Store", specialty shops, plenty of door prizes, and more, make CDD the place to be on the third Saturday of every month.

As always admission to Cruisin' Destination Daytona is free, as is parking and the Destination Daytona shuttle is available to move you about the vast Destination Daytona complex. If you are a specialty vehicle owner come on out and check out CDD, if you are a spectator, bring the kids, and enjoy some automobile culture, cruisin' style. The action starts at 3PM and continues until the party is over.
